NSW police charge man after armed robbery at Dubbo

A man has been charged following an alleged armed robbery in the state’s Central West overnight.

About 7.10pm yesterday (Tuesday 10 November 2020), a man – armed with a knife – entered a service station on Whylandra Street, Dubbo and approached the shop attendant.

The man allegedly threatened the attendant demanding cash before fleeing the scene on foot towards Alam Street.

Officers from Orana Mid Western Police District attended and established a crime scene.

Following inquiries, police attended a home on Bultje Street and arrested a 37-year-old man.

He was taken to Dubbo Police Station and charged with robbery armed with offensive weapon.

The man was refused bail to appear at Dubbo Local Court today (Wednesday 11 November 2020).
