NSW police charge man after drugs, cash and ammunition seized at Armidale

A man has been charged with five offences after police allegedly found drugs, cash and ammunition at an Armidale home this week.

About 2.35pm on Tuesday (25 June 2019), officers attached to New England Police District executed a search warrant at a Kirkwood Street address in relation to the supply of prohibited drugs.

Among items seized was cash, 27.5g of methyl amphetamine and ammunition.

A 46-year-old man was arrested and taken to Armidale Police Station where he was charged with possession of prohibited drug, possess prescribed restricted substance, dealing with proceeds of crime >=$5000, acquiring firearm part and unauthorised possession of ammunition.

He was refused bail and will appear before Armidale Local Court on Monday 22 July 2019.
