NSW police charge man after extradition from Queensland

Raptor Squad has charged an outlaw motorcycle gang (OMCG) associate with commercial drug supply offences after being extradited from Queensland yesterday.

In June 2018, investigators from the Raptor Squad commenced an investigation into the supply of prohibited drugs and firearms across the state.

Following extensive investigations, Queensland Police (QPOL) arrested a 27-year-old man near Logan on Wednesday (17 November 2021).

The man appeared at Brisbane Magistrates Court yesterday (Thursday 18 November 2021), where Raptor Squad investigators applied for, and were granted, the man’s extradition to NSW.

He was escorted to Tweed Heads Police Station, where he was charged with an outstanding warrant for three counts of supply prohibited drug – commercial quantity.

The man was refused bail to appear before Tweed Heads Local Court today (Friday 19 November 2021).

Investigations are ongoing.
