NSW police charge man after investigations into alleged drug supply

A man has been charged after ongoing investigations into alleged drug supply in the Nelson Bay area.

About 7.40am on Wednesday 20 February 2019, officers from Port Stephens-Hunter Target Action Group executed a search warrant at a home on Government Road, Nelson Bay.

Police located a 33-year-old man, who was arrested and taken to Raymond Terrace Police Station.

Upon searching the home, police seized cash, substances believed to be cocaine, MDMA, methylamphetamine, cannabis, LSD, and a Diamond Python snake.

The 33-year-old man was charged with supply prohibited drugs (x3), possess prohibited drugs (x4), possess protected native fauna, goods in custody, and occupier knowingly conduct drug premises.

He was refused bail, to appear at Raymond Terrace Local Court yesterday (Wednesday 20 February 2019), where he was again refused bail to reappear at the same court on Monday 25 February 2019.
