NSW police charge man after Strike Force Radius investigations at Tamworth

A man will face court today on multiple drug related offences as investigations into the supply of methylamphetamine (ice) in the state’s New England region continue.

In August 2018, detectives from Oxley Police District established Strike Force Radius, with assistance from the Target Action Group and Crime Management Unit, to investigate the supply of illicit drugs and firearms in Tamworth.

Following extensive inquiries, strike force detectives issued a warrant for the arrest of a 22-year-old man for drug supply offences.

At 10.20pm yesterday (Sunday 21 July 2019), the man presented himself to Fairfield Police Station where he was charged with supply prohibited drug greater than indictable and less than commercial quantity, supply prohibited drug greater than or equal to commercial quantity, knowingly deal with proceeds of crime, and participate criminal group contribute criminal activity.

He was bail refused to appear before Fairfield Local Court today (Monday 22 July 2019).
