A man has been charged following an investigation into drug supply in the Illawarra.

About 5pm Friday 29 November 2019, a silver Audi sedan was stopped on Todd Street, Warrawong.

Officers from Lake Illawarra Police District searched the vehicle and allegedly located a tin containing five bags of methylamphetamine underneath the driver’s seat, cash and scales.

The driver of the vehicle was released at the time pending further investigation.
