NSW police charge man with outstanding warrant in Sydney’s south-west

A man has been charged with an outstanding warrant in Western Sydney.

The 29-year-old man was wanted by virtue of an outstanding arrest warrant for domestic violence-related offences.

Following inquiries, officers attached to North West Metropolitan Region Domestic Violence High Risk Offender Team attended a home on Perrin Avenue, Plumpton, at 4.25pm yesterday (Thursday 11 November 2021).

With assistance from the Public Order and Riot Squad, as well as officers from Nepean and Mt Druitt Police Area Commands, the man was arrested.

A second man – aged 37 – was also arrested at the scene and both men were taken to Mt Druitt Police Station.

The younger man was charged with an outstanding warrant for domestic violence-related offences.

The older man was charged with breach of bail and a domestic violence-related offence.

Both men were refused bail to appear at Mt Druitt Local Court today (Friday 12 November 2021).
