NSW police charge three people after aggravated break-in at Guyra

Police have charged three people for an alleged break and enter in the state’s Northern Tablelands last week.

About 9.40am on Sunday (17 May 2020), two men and a woman allegedly forced entry into a business on Bradley Street, Guyra.

The trio left empty-handed after the alarm was activated.

Officers attached to New England Police District attended and commenced an investigation.

Following inquiries, officers arrested a 32-year-old man at a home on Malpas Street, Guyra about 12.40pm on Wednesday 20 May 2020.

He was taken to Guyra Police Station and charged with aggravated break and enter dwelling in company intend steal and was refused bail to appear at Armidale Local Court on Monday 15 June 2020.

Following further inquiries, officers arrested a second man at a home in Ebor Road and an 18-year-old woman at a home on Malpas Street, Guyra today (Friday 22 May 2020).

The pair were taken to Guyra Police Station and charged with aggravated break and enter dwelling in company intend steal.

They were both given conditional bail to appear at Armidale Local Court on Monday 10 August 2020.
