NSW police charge two after vehicle stop at Dubbo

Two people have been charged after a vehicle stop in the state’s Orana Region yesterday.

About 3.50pm Monday (17 February 2020), officers attached to Orana Mid-Western Police District stopped a Holden Commodore Station Wagon on Wheelers Lane, Dubbo.

During a search of the vehicle, officers allegedly located and seized 39grams of methylamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and multiple mobile phones.

A 37-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman were arrested and taken to Dubbo Police Station.

The 37-year-old man was charged with take part in supply prohibited drug, possess prohibited drug, possession of equipment for administering prohibited drugs and custody of knife in public place.

The man was given conditional bail to appear at Dubbo Local Court on Wednesday 1 April 2020.

The woman was charged with possess prohibited drug, supply prohibited drug and possession of equipment for administering prohibited drugs.

The woman was given conditional bail to appear at Dubbo Local Court on Wednesday 18 March 2020.
