NSW police charge woman after drugs seized after vehicle search at Dubbo

A woman will face court today after drugs and cash were seized following a vehicle stop in the state’s Central West.

About 12.05am today (Friday 29 October 2021), officers attached to Orana Mid-Western Police District stopped the driver of a gold Jeep Grand Cherokee, for the purpose of a random breath test.

The driver returned a negative result to the roadside breath test.

Following further checks, officers conducted a search of the vehicle and seized nearly 11g of methylamphetamine (ice) and cash.

The estimated potential street value of the prohibited drugs seized is $9,630.

A 29-year-old woman was arrested and taken to Dubbo Police Station, where she was charged with supply prohibited drug and deal with property proceeds of crime.

She was refused bail to appear at Dubbo Local Court today.
