NSW police charge woman with 27 drug supply offences at Corowa

A woman has been charged following an investigation into the supply of methylamphetamine (‘ice’) in the state’s south.

Investigators attached to the Murray River Police District Drug Unit established Strike Force Winnall in June 2019, targeting the supply of prohibited drugs in Corowa and surrounding areas.

As a result of investigations, police executed a search warrant at a Corowa residence about 11.30am yesterday (Tuesday 13 August 2019).

Officers located and seized drugs, scales, mobile phones, resealable plastic bags and other items indicative of drug supply.

A 25-year-old woman was arrested and taken to Albury Police Station. She was charged with 27 offences relating to the supply of prohibited drugs on an ongoing basis (methylamphetamine).

She was refused bail to appear before Albury Local Court today (Wednesday 14 August 2019).
