NSW police charge woman with drug supply at Albury

A woman will face court today charged with drug supply following a vehicle stop in the state’s far south.

About 8.30pm yesterday (Monday 27 January 2020) officers from the Traffic and Highway Patrol Command stopped a Suzuki SX4 on the Hume Highway near Borella Road, Albury.

During a search of the vehicle, officers allegedly located and seized cocaine, MDMA, a mobile phone and drug paraphernalia.

The driver, a 35-year-old woman, was arrested and taken to Albury Police Station, where she was charged with two counts of supply prohibited drug and two counts of possess prohibited drug.

She was refused bail and is due to face Albury Local Court today (Tuesday 28 January 2020).
