NSW police investigate after shots fired into house at Ryde

An investigation is underway following a public place shooting in Sydney’s north-west.

About 1.15am (Wednesday 22 May 2019), police were called to a house on Charles Street, Ryde, following reports shots were fired into the home and a car out the front.

Officers from Ryde Police Area Command attended and established a crime scene, which is being examined by specialist forensic officers.

The seven occupants of the home were uninjured.

No arrests have been made at this time and as inquiries continue, investigators are urging anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
