NSW police investigate aggravated robbery at Bourke

An investigation is underway following an aggravated robbery at Bourke overnight.

Just after midnight (Sunday 20 September 2020), two women – aged 53 and 55 – were sitting in a car on Darling Street when they were approached by a group of males.

The group threatened the women with a knife and attempted to gain access to the car.

The women managed to flee, and the group was seen leaving the area in their vehicle, which also contained their personal belongings.

Police were alerted and officers from Central North Police District attended and commenced inquiries.

They’re appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
