NSW police investigate armed robbery at Callala Beach

Police are appealing for information following an armed robbery on the state’s south coast.

About 8.45pm yesterday (Monday 30 September 2019) two men attended a club on Callala Beach Road, Callala Beach.

The two men, allegedly armed with hand guns and with their faces covered, forced entry through the front door of the club. before demanding access to the safe from two employees.

A male employee was allegedly punched in the face before the two men fled on foot empty handed.

The man sustained minor injuries as a result of the incident.

Officers from South Coast Police District attended and established a crime scene.
