Police are appealing for public information as investigations continue into a suspicious house fire in the state’s north east yesterday.
About 5.15am on Thursday (4 November 2021), officers attached to Oxley Police District were patrolling Green Street, Tamworth, when they observed smoke emitting from a home.
Fire & Rescue NSW attended and extinguished the blaze, however the house was partially destroyed.
The home is not currently occupied and no injuries have been reported.
A crime scene has been established, and police are continuing to investigate the cause of the fire, which is being treated as suspicious.
