A woman has died following a crash in the state’s Barrier region yesterday.
About 8.30pm yesterday (Friday 10 April 2020), emergency services were called to Creedon Street, Broken Hill, after reports a trail bike had crashed into a man and woman.
The 34-year-old woman died at the scene; the 57-year-old man was taken to Broken Hill Base Hospital in a serious condition; he was later airlifted to orange Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The trail bike rider, a 31-year-old man, was also injured and was taken to Broken Hill Base Hospital for treatment and mandatory testing. He remains under police guard in hospital.
Officers from Barrier Police District attended and established a crime scene.
Detectives hope to speak with the man once he is deemed fit.
