NSW police lay charges over FPO search at Mollymook

A man has been charged after a firearm, ammunition, and drugs were seized during a Firearms Prohibition Order (FPO) search in the state’s south today.

Officers from South Coast Police District conducted a Firearms Prohibition Order (FPO) search at a home in Mollymook about 7am today (Friday 1 November 2019).

A 25-year-old man was arrested at the home and taken to Ulladulla Police Station where he was charged with possess shortened firearm (not pistol) without authority, , not keep firearm safely, possess ammunition without holding a licence/permit, and possess prohibited drugs (x2).

He was refused bail to appear at Nowra Local Court today (Friday 1 November 2019).
