Deputy Commissioner Scott Cook has been appointed Deputy Commissioner, Corporate Services, while Deputy Commissioner Dean Smith will take on responsibility for Metropolitan Field Operations.
I welcome the announcement that Deputy Commissioner Scott Cook APM has been appointed to the role of Deputy Commissioner, Corporate Services.
Every member of the NSW Police Force is entrusted with serving the community, but to be appointed to a senior leadership role is a rare privilege and an extraordinary honour.
On behalf of the people of NSW, I warmly congratulate Deputy Commissioner Cook on his appointment to this important role, and I thank him for his continued commitment to serving the people of our state.
I look forward to working closely with Deputy Commissioner Cook as he carries forward the enduring mission of the NSW Police to uphold the law and protect our communities.
