NSW police responding to fatal single-vehicle crash at Berridale

A man has died following a single-vehicle crash in the state’s south.

Police believe between 9pm yesterday (Thursday 16 May 2019) and 7am today (Friday 17 May 2019), a man was driving along Bobundara Road, Berridale, about 35km south-west of Cooma, when his Toyota Hilux utility travelled onto the incorrect side of the road and hit an embankment.

The man, aged 75, died at the scene.

Emergency services were called after the man and the vehicle were located by a local resident this morning.

Officers from Monaro Police District will investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash and prepare a report for the Coroner.
