NSW police seek information after break and enter at Coffs Harbour

Police are appealing for public assistance following a break and enter in the state’s north this week.

About 11.25pm on Wednesday 27 October 2021, officers attached to Coffs-Clarence Police District attended a service station on Ocean Parade, Park Beach, following reports of a break and enter.

Police have been told two men forced entry into the service station and stole a number of items including food, drinks and sunglasses before fleeing the scene.

Following inquiries, police arrested a 21-year-old man at a nearby caravan park a short time later.

The man was taken to Coffs Harbour Police Station where he was charged with break & enter house etc steal.

He appeared in Coffs Harbour Local Court today (Thursday 28 October 2021), where he was granted conditional bail to reappear in the same court on Monday 15 November 2021.

As the investigation continues, police have released an image of another man who may be able to assist with inquiries.

He is described as being of Aboriginal / Torres Strait Islander appearance, in his late teens to early 20s, about 170cm tall, of medium build with black hair and brown eyes. He has a sleeve style tattoo on his left arm.

He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and black tracksuit pants with a red and white stripe around the ankle. He was also wearing a black hat and white shoes.
