NSW police seek information after pedestrian hit by van at Orange

Police are appealing for information after a man was struck by a van in the state’s Central West overnight.

About 6.35pm yesterday (Monday 25 May 2020), emergency services were called to Summer Street, Orange, following reports a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle, that did not stop.

Upon arrival, paramedics treated a 47-year-old man before he was taken to Orange Hospital with significant injuries.

Investigators attached to Central West Police District attended and commenced an investigation.

The vehicle is described as being a white commercial van with roof racks.

As inquiries continue, any witnesses or any motorists who may have been in the area and have CCTV or dashcam vision, are urged to come forward.
