NSW police seek information after pushbike trio steal from woman at Orange

Police are appealing for information after a woman was robbed by three people on pushbikes in the state’s Central West.

About 3.20am yesterday (Sunday 15 December 2019), two women were walking along Clinton and Casey streets, Orange when they were approached by three people on pushbikes.

It is alleged one of the men demanded the woman’s money, while the remaining two yelled abuse.

The trio left the scene with bank cards and cash.

Officers attached to Central West Police District were notified and commenced inquiries.

One of the men was described as being Caucasian in appearance, of medium build and about 180cm tall. He was last seen wearing a black hooded jumper with white text across the chest, light coloured cargo pants, BMX gloves and was riding a black pushbike.

The second man was described as being Caucasian in appearance, about 180cm tall and of medium build. He was last seen wearing a white hooded jumper, maroon, gold and white football shorts, and riding a pushbike.

The third man is described as being Caucasian in appearance, slightly shorter than 180cm tall and of a medium build. He was last seen wearing a white hooded jumper, shorts and riding a pushbike.

Police urge anyone with information, including CCTV or dashcam footage from the Clinton and Casey streets area around the time of the incident, to contact Orange Police Station on 6363 6399.

Investigations continue.
