NT Covid update 15 December

our cases are linked to the NT outbreak, bringing the total number of cases to 94. These new cases include residents from Timber Creek and Katherine and contact tracing is underway. The remaining cases are not connected to the NT outbreak and were not in the community while infectious.

They include:

  • One case in home quarantine in Darwin
  • One case who arrived on a flight from London and is in hotel quarantine
  • Five cases who all arrived on a repatriation flight from Johannesburg and are in isolation at the Centre for National Resilience.

Genomic sequencing is underway. 2,700 COVID-19 tests were processed across the NT yesterday. COVID-19 testing sites are open in Katherine, Tennant Creek, Alice Springs, Nhulunbuy and Darwin. T
