The annual Northern Territory (NT) Heritage Grants Program that provides funding to conserve heritage places in the NT opens today, 1 May 2020 for applications.
Open to both community groups and private property owners grants of up to $20,000 are available for conservation work, research projects and interpretive projects that relate to a place or object on the NT Heritage Register.
This grants program ensures key historic places including buildings, Aboriginal archaeological sites and places of social and natural significance across the Territory are maintained and preserved so all Territorians can celebrate the Territory’s rich history.
Applications open 1 May 2020 and close 1 June 2020.
