Quotes from Minister for Sport, Kate Worden:

“Sport has a way of uniting Territorians in a way few other activities do.

“Our sporting athletes can be idols and mentors, but we recognise that it takes teams of people to ensure that sport is the activity that we can both participate in and be in awe of.

“These awards recognise this by also including categories for coaches, administrators and all-important volunteers who make sure our sporting clubs can keep offering opportunities for our future sports stars.”

“I encourage Territorians to think about who it is in your sporting community who deserves to be recognised and consider nominating them for these awards,”
