Police can advise one person has died following a crash on Makarau Road, Rodney District, on Wednesday 15 May 2019.
Emergency services were notified of the crash involving two vehicles at around 8:50pm. The crash occurred at the intersection of SH 16 – Kaipara Coast Highway and Makarau Road.
A 31-year-old man sustained critical injuries and was transported to hospital, however he sadly died yesterday.
Another person sustained serious injuries and was treated at hospital.
