As stated by Wellington District Road Policing Manager Brad Allen:
Police can confirm one person has died following a two-vehicle crash in Upper Hutt yesterday (4 July).
Police responded to a crash between a motorcycle and a bus on Whakatiki Street at 7:50am.
Sadly the motorcyclist died at the scene.
Police extend their condolences to their family and friends at this difficult time.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
