Emergency services have been called to the scene of a serious crash involving a truck and car on Te Anau Milford Highway, Fiordland National Park.
Police were called around 2.30pm.
Initial indications are one person has received serious injuries.
Two helicopters have been dispatched.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area.
