Police can now confirm the name of the man who died in a two car crash on SH3 near the Awakino Tunnel on Monday 22 April.
He was 56-year-old Scott Hamilton Murray of Te Puke.
Police extend their sympathies to Mr Murray’s friends and family at this difficult time.
The investigation into the cause of the crash continues.
