Police can now confirm the name of the person who died after the dinghy they were in capsized on the Wairoa River on 30 November.
He was Teri Ngahau Peka, 57, of Wairoa.
Our thoughts are with his whānau and friends.
An investigation into the circumstances of the incident is ongoing.
