Police can confirm the person injured in a hunting incident at Nuhaka, near Wairoa, on Sunday 2 June has died.
He was 21-year-old Troy Ormond, of Wairoa.
Police extend their sympathies to Mr Ormond’s family and friends at this difficult time.
