Police are now in a position to release the name of the person who died in a crash on West Coast Road, Mitimiti on Friday, 4 November.
He was Allan Campbell, 56, of Mitimiti.
Police extend our sympathies to his friends and family.
Enquiries into the crash are ongoing.
