Police are appealing for the occupants of a Yagoona home, destroyed by fire this morning, to contact them.
About 4.40am emergency services were called a house on Cantrell Street after reports of a fire.
The house was well alight at the time emergency services arrived.
The firefighting operation is continuing.
Once the fire ground has been deemed safe police and fire inspectors will be able to enter the building to begin determining the cause.
Police are seeking the occupants of the premises to contact them via Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
