Detectives from the Organised Crime Gangs Group, Taskforce Maxima, Brisbane Tactical have arrested and charged a 58-year-old man following the execution of a search warrant at Holland Park address on February 8.
Police will allege during the search of a Rita Street address, they located a loaded handgun, methylamphetamine, knuckledusters, ammunition and vials of adrenaline along with organised crime gang colours, stickers, t-shirts and jewellery within the man’s bedroom.
It will be alleged the man threatened police with a bladed weapon before he was successfully restrained.
A 58-year-old man was taken into custody at the scene and later charged with possession of methylamphetamine and drug utensils, possessing a category H weapons (firearm), possessing a category M weapons (knuckledusters), possession of ammunition and possession of dangerous drugs (namely adrenaline).
He is due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on February 21.
