Detectives from Darebin Crime Investigation Unit have released CCTV footage as they appeal for public assistance in their investigation into an aggravated burglary at a farm café in Bundoora last weekend.
It is understood a group of offenders arrived on e-bikes at a property on Plenty Road where they damaged a fence about 12.15am on Sunday, 20 September.
Police were told they broke into several sheds and stole garden tools, before stealing a tractor and driving it into the front doors of a café on the premises.
Investigators have released CCTV footage of the incident, in the hope that someone recognises the offenders and can provide information on their whereabouts.
The offenders were disturbed by an alarm and abandoned the tractor with its engine still running.
Police believe they fled on e-bikes and are urging anyone who was driving in the area just before or after the incident to check their dashcam footage.
