A police officer has been charged over alleged domestic-related offences.
On Friday 6 March 2020, a 42-year-old female sergeant – attached to South West Metropoliatn Region – was charged with two counts of common assault (DV), stalk/intimidate intend fear physical etc harm (domestic), and access/modify restricted data held in computer.
Police will allege in court the charges relate to a domestic-related incident at Emu Plains on Sunday 5 January 2020.
She is due to appear before Penrith Local Court on Tuesday 28 April 2020.
The officer’s employment status is currently under review.
