A serving police officer has been charged following an investigation into alleged domestic-violence related offences.
On Tuesday 9 January 2024, officers from Tuggerah Lakes Police District received reports of a domestic-violence related incident and commenced an investigation.
Following inquiries, a 36-year-old senior constable – attached to a command in the Northern Region – was charged with common assault, and destroy or damage property.
He was granted strict conditional bail to appear before Wyong Local Court today (Thursday 11 January 2024).
The officer’s employment status is under review.
