A police officer has been charged with larceny following an investigation by the Professional Standards Command.
Strike Force Mayworth was formed in 2018 to investigate allegations of theft against a senior constable attached to the North West Metropolitan Region.
Following inquiries, a 39-year-old man was issued a Future Court Attendance Notice on Thursday 7 February 2019 for larceny.
He is due to appear in Downing Centre Local Court on Monday 1 April 2019.
The officer has been suspended with pay.
