Homicide Squad detectives are investing a shooting in Prahran this morning.
Investigators believe multiple people were shot outside a night club near Little Chapel Street and Malvern Road about 3.20am.
A 37-year-old man from Narre Warren South suffered life-threatening injuries during the incident however has since died in hospital.
Three other men were also transported to hospital.
A 28-year-old man remains in a critical condition.
A 50-year-old man and a 29-year-old man have both sustained non-life threatening injuries.
Police are investigating if a black Porsche SUV seen leaving the area is related to the incident.
The Porsche was later found burnt out in Wollert.
An investigation is underway and the exact circumstances are still being established.
