Arson Squad detectives are continuing their enquiries into an incident that occurred around 1.15pm on Sunday, 23 August 2020 in Medina in which a woman was badly injured.
A man has been charged with dousing the woman with petrol and setting her alight at her Cowcher Way home. The woman remains in hospital with burns to 35% of her body.
Several members of the public were walking along Cowcher Way around the time of the incident and went the woman ran outside to seek help. Arson Squad detectives are asking these people, particularly anyone who has yet to speak with investigators, to come forward.
