Council regrets to announce that the reopening of Adaminaby and Bombala public swimming pools is delayed.

Adaminaby Pool is now scheduled to reopen for the season on Friday 8 December 2023.

Bombala Pool is now scheduled to reopen for the season on Monday 27 November 2023.

Urgent upgrades are required at Adaminaby Pool before it can reopen to the public. A contractor has been brought on board and is currently procuring the necessary equipment and materials to complete this work.

These upgrades at Adaminaby Pool will get underway from Wednesday 22 November 2023, and if no delays or complications are encountered, the pool will reopen for the season from Friday 8 December 2023.

Adaminaby residents and pool users are invited to a public meeting at 1pm on Wednesday 22 November 2023 at Adaminaby Pool. Council’s project manager will be in attendance to provide information on this work and the delay in reopening.

Council has postponed the reopening of Bombala Pool by one week due to unforeseen delays in finalising operational requirements. In response to these delays, we are working with the pool operator to extend the opening season.

Council apologises for the inconvenience these delays have caused, and appreciates the community’s patience and understanding.

We will keep the community updated as work progresses.
