Opportunity to join Team Australia at BIO

AusBiotech is inviting companies to be prominently profiled at its Team Australia digital pavilion at BIO Digital 2021. As the industry’s independent voice, AusBiotech has led the Australian delegation to BIO for more than a decade, and Australia’s strong presence will continue to be felt at BIO Digital 2021.

AusBiotech’s digital delegation showcases Australian capabilities, promotes the strength of the Australian life sciences, and fosters global connections with its overseas counterparts.

The strength of the Australian life sciences will be present, with strong Victorian and New South Wales partnerships profiled. Companies have the opportunity to align with these profiles or to take an overarching national presence.

Joining the Team Australia pavilion offers companies: national presence to a global audience; access to networking opportunities; access to premier partnering during the fortnight and up to 12 months following the event; detailed company profile; registration, with the opportunity of discounted rates for further registrations; featuring in AusBiotech’s Global Showcase presentation.

This year the conference will span two weeks: with a new Global Marketplace and Innovation Stage happening on 10-11 June US/11-12 June AU, and an interactive education week occurring on 14-18 June US/15-19 June AU.

The Global Marketplace and Innovation Stage will feature fast-paced presentations, coupled with live, face-to-face networking allowing delegates to identify prospective partners. Lorraine Chiroiu, AusBiotech CEO, will deliver a Global Marketplace presentation on behalf of Australia highlighting Australia’s competitive advantage in life sciences and sharing the top reasons to partner and invest in our Australian sector.

The global event features biotech leaders, such as Dr. Anthony Fauci, Director, National Institute of Allergies and Infectious Diseases, National Institutes of Health, with more than 50 interactive and on-demand sessions across six days. Topics will cover a variety of therapeutic areas, business development, digital health, patient advocacy, public policy, next-generation biotherapeutics, and the latest updates from industry experts on COVID-19 and the vaccine.

Hosted by the Biotechnology Innovation Organisation (BIO), the conference is the largest and most influential global event for the biotechnology industry.

The annual mission to BIO is closely aligned with AusBiotech’s strategic plan, which seeks to facilitate global engagement in strong established markets, including North America and growth markets in Asia.

With the vaccine rollout underway across the globe, AusBiotech is enthusiastic and optimistic to reconvene in-person next year as it continues to lead the Team Australia delegation and to host the Australian pavilion.
