Organised Crime Squad detectives have charged two men following an investigation into an alleged drug supply syndicate in Sydney’s south west.
Strike Force Arkoma was established in March 2026 by State Crime Command’s Organised Crime Squad to investigate the alleged large-scale supply of prohibited drugs across Sydney by an Organised Crime Network (OCN).
Two women – aged 24 – have since been charged and remain before the courts.
Following further extensive inquiries, about 1.20pm yesterday (Wednesday 23 September 2026) strike force detectives – with assistance from Raptor Squad – stopped a vehicle in North Strathfield and arrested a 19-year-old man.
During the arrest, detectives allegedly located 14.5g of cocaine, 7.7g of methylamphetamine and 3.7g of MDMA in the man’s possession.
He was taken to Burwood Police Station, where he was charged with three counts of supply prohibited drug greater than indictable & less than commercial quantity and possess prohibited drug.
The 19-year-old man was refused bail to appear at Burwood Local Court today (Thursday 24 September 2026).
Following further inquiries, about 6.10pm yesterday, strike force detectives – with assistance from Southwest Metropolitan Operations Support Group – executed a search warrant in Canley Vale.
During the search, detectives allegedly seized 51g of methylamphetamine, 9.7g of cocaine, a Dedicated Encrypted Criminal Communication Device and two trackers.
The estimated potential street value of total drugs seized is $30,000.
A 34-year-old man was arrested and taken to Cabramatta Police Station, where he was charged with eight counts of supply prohibited drug greater than indictable & less than commercial quantity, participate criminal group contribute criminal activity and possess DECCD to commit serious criminal activity.
He was refused bail to appear at Fairfield Local Court today (Thursday 24 September 2026).
