The silver screen is a fantastic medium for storytelling, and the capacity crowds we welcomed to the 2022 Boroondara Seniors Film Festival was clear evidence of this.
This year, the film festival forms part of a wider month-long lineup of activities supporting the Victorian Seniors Festival.

For this year’s Boroondara Seniors Film Festival, patrons can enjoy a series of movies being shown (free of charge) at Village Rivoli, Lido Cinemas and Palace Balwyn.
The theme of this year’s film festival program is ‘Stories that inspire, challenge, and connect us’. Each film has been selected to illustrate the wide spectrum of experience, stories and wisdom that only come with age.
