Our friends Aspara Gus, Rhu Barb and Sir Paul McCarrottney from The Vegetable Plot sang and danced for an enthusiastic crowd of 45 kids and grownups at our Kempsey branch this July school hoilidays!
This is our third visit from our favourite vegetables, and we can’t wait to have them back again, getting their mango, mango, mango on!
The Vegetable Plot is an ARIA-nominated Australian Children’s band serving up a funky-fresh soundtrack to the food revolution for kids, families and foodies.
They’re part of the ABC Kids music family, with listeners in over 100 countries, multiple international awards, and more than 2 million streams on Spotify to their name.
From giant festivals to tiny daycare centres, community gardens to the Sydney Opera House, no show is too big or too small. They’ve done theatre shows, music workshops, uke jams, folk festivals, rock shows and even performed their songs with a full orchestra.
Kempsey Sire Libraries are very happy to join them on their mission of Love and Peas!
