Outcomes published
We have published the outcomes of our review of digital scribe products supplied in Australia. The review aimed to:
- better understand the digital scribe products available in Australia
- assess whether some functions of digital scribes may meet the definition of a medical device
- improve awareness of regulatory obligations and support compliance where needed.
We will use the findings of the review to:
- inform our regulatory approach to digital scribes
- support continued education and regulatory guidance to help suppliers and users of digital scribes
- guide targeted compliance activities where necessary.
