An outlaw motorcycle gang member (OMCG) has been served with a firearms prohibition order (FPO) in the state’s west.
About 7.35am today (Wednesday 15 September 2021), officers from the Oxley Police District stopped a Nissan Navara on the Kamilaroi Highway, Quirindi, and issued the driver, a 26-year-old man, with an FPO.
Police searched the man and his vehicle before he was escorted to a home on Breeza Street, Quirindi. During a search of the residence, officers located cannabis and cash.
These items were seized for forensic examination. Investigations are continuing.
