Paint Your Bin competition gets some Retro Bin-spiration

A cluster of retro game-themed bins has been recognised this week in the Isolation Bin-spiration Paint your Bin competition. The bins have been painted by a group in Natimuk and feature motifs from 80’s video game classics Space Invaders and Pac Man.

The artists in this group, Bec, Enga and Bliss, will each receive a voucher to Bonnie & Clyde’s.

A winner has also been announced for the best individual bin this week.

Wendy Butler of Olympic St will receive a voucher to the Cheeky Fox Café for her bin which also features a classic retro character in Buggs Bunny. Wendy has painted her bin for the enjoyment of all, but especially her young neighbour across the street. She has also painted the back panel with a silhouette image for herself and partner to enjoy as that’s the side they see on bin day.

Due to the excellent community response, the Isolation Bin-spiration Paint your Bin competition has been extended into the school holidays.

Groups of neighbours working together on themed bin clusters is highly encouraged.
