Pair arrested on illicit drug charges, South Australia

Police arrested two men following the discovery of a large amount of glassware as well as chemicals typically used for the manufacture of drugs at Salisbury Park.

Just after 10pm on Thursday 29 November, detectives from Northern District CIB attended a house in relation to an unrelated matter.

While at the premises, police uncovered the illicit equipment along with a large number of handheld EFTPOS machines, fireworks, a small amount of methamphetamines, and drug paraphernalia.

A 47 and a 48-year-old from the address were both charged with manufacture controlled drug for sale, possess prescribed equipment to manufacture controlled drug, and unlawful possession. They have been bailed to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrate Court on 8 January.

Investigations are ongoing in relation to the EFTPOS machines.
